Facebook Reviews: Here’s What You Need To Know

Since Facebook´s latest design update mid of 2014 it seems that with star ratings and written reviews positioned more prominently plus the possibility to do a ‘social search’ within your friends group via Facebook´s Graph Search (so far available for users with English US language settings only) that Facebook plans to set more emphasis on this topic for local businesses like hotels, restaurants, cafés, retailers,…and potentially wants to become a competitor of review sites such as Foursquare, Yelp,…oh oh!

We wanted to have a glimpse on how hoteliers should treat Facebook reviews on their fan pages and therefore asked Margaret Ady, Marketing Director at TrustYou to share some of the ideas presented in the latest TrustYou’s best practice guide for Facebook.
